Tyler Gillam joined Riggan Law Firm in 2023. Since then, Tyler’s practice has focused on employment law, primarily representing employees in workplace disputes. Tyler represents clients through all stages of the litigation process, including representing clients on charges of discrimination filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and similar state agencies.
Tyler is originally from Festus, MO. He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia for his undergraduate degree where he majored in Political Science. Tyler earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, NC. While in law school, Tyler was the Managing Editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy and a member of the Moot Court Board. Additionally, Tyler participated in Wake Forest’s Appellate Advocacy Clinic where he handled a client’s appeal in the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Carmen, and their two dogs, Albus and Roger. Tyler enjoys traveling and discovering new food at every place he goes.
